Clockworkmod 5 0 2 8 Tar Download BETTER

In the hopes of getting Android 5.0 onto my Nexus 10, I visited Google's factory image download page for the latest image. I noticed however that the file I downloaded was a tar and not a zip. Will this work just the same using CWM to flash it, or do I need to do something special here?

The boot loader is not the main problem, it is mainly the encoding of the rom you are using. Instead of tampering with the rom you are going to install, just download rom manager or download the Odin on your laptop. from the internet, download execute variable for your device or .tar if flashing from laptop and apply, DO NOT FLASH AS ROM. this will brick your device. I have tried this method and it has worked without no brick 200+ times. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIS METHOD; YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR ACTIONS.

I have a Samsung galaxy tab 2 gt-p5100. I rooted it but can`t install CWM Recovery on it. Seem that link don`t work and I can`t find where to download it, so if you can give me a hand to find a download link I will appreciate . Thank you.

If you already have CyanogenMod 9 then updating is easy. Just download the latest version and save it to your sd card, then flash it using Clockwork mod just like you would with normal installation in section 3.

Samsung devices have two pre-boot menus that every Galaxy owner should know about: recovery mode and download mode. The recovery screen allows users to wipe cache files or perform a factory reset, which can help save the phone from a soft brick. Download mode, on the other hand, allows you to flash firmware files using utilities like Odin and Smart Switch, which can truly be a lifesaver.

The new Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the first Samsung flagships to not include a physical home button, which, in the past, was an integral part of getting the device to boot up in either recovery or download mode. Luckily, it's not at all hard to get the phone into these modes if you take a minute to learn the new button combinations.

To boot the S8 into download mode, you'll also need to start by turning the phone off. But this time, press and hold the Bixby and volume down buttons, then press the power button. The phone will almost instantly boot into download mode, so you can let go of all three buttons as soon as it does. Press volume up to continue, and you'll be free to flash whatever you want into your S8 using Odin or Smart Switch.
